Interview: Terell Stafford in All About Jazz

Terell Stafford is known as an acclaimed trumpeter, in-demand sideman, chart-climbing bandleader and influential educator.  Yet in the course of my interview with him for All About Jazz, he also emerged as a passionate student, expressing relentless curiosity to hear more of his predecessors and contemporaries, and an incredibly modest soul.

Just don’t tell him “can’t” or “won’t!”
